A few of our entrants have asked this question as we require that TIFF files be submitted, so we’ll discuss it here and add it to the list of FAQ’s.
Q: How do I convert a JPEG file to a TIFF file.
A: Photoshop and Microsoft Picture Manager work much the same way in this respect. Open your image in JPEG format. Under the File pull-down menu click on Export. A sidebar will appear giving you a bunch of options as to the file type you wish to export it to. Select the Tif setting. We suggest also adding Tif to the filename for easy reference. You can save it in the same folder with the original or send it to a different folder. Other photomanagers probably work in similar fashion or they may just give you the option when you click on Save As.
